public visitation in limited numbers. Timed entry will be available
for 50 visitors per hour .
Idaho State Historical Society members receive free admission. No other discounts apply.

As of November 13, 2020, the Idaho State Museum
requires face coverings be worn by visitors and staff to help prevent the
spread of COVID-19. Complimentary face coverings will be provided upon request.
The Idaho State Museum staff disinfects highly touched surfaces on a regularly scheduled basis. We have hand sanitizing stations throughout the Idaho State Museum. We also provide guests with a stylus to use on touch screens instead of their hands.
As a courtesy to other guests, visitors should plan on spending no more than two hours onsite.
In the event of an emergency or added closure, online sales for that day will be disabled, and purchasers will be notified via email as quickly as possible. Guests will be offered a refund or a chance to reschedule their visit.
